Yamaha FJR vs Kawasaki Concours

Sunday afternoon I stopped by Iron Pony to look at two Yamaha FJR's they had in stock. Both were 2008 models and had nearly the same mileage. The dealership also had a Kawasaki Concours, another sport tourer that I have been eyeing.

I like both motorcycles, but think the FJR fits the bill a little better for me, here's why.

The FJR

• Fuel tank is 1 gallon larger.
• Cruise control
• Yamaha top bag available
• Dual exhaust

For these reasons, plus the fact that I like the FJR's aesthetics a little better mans it will probably be the motorcycle that ends up in my garage. To be continued.
